Since 2015, Mary Ellen Houston has been the driving force behind Olalla Vineyard & Winery, where she wears many hats—from grape-stomper to event host, marketer, vintner, and tasting room manager. Her hands-on leadership and commitment to quality have helped transform the winery into a beloved boutique destination on the Kitsap Peninsula.

Before trading spreadsheets for grapevines, Mary Ellen built a successful career in banking, finance, and later with the federal government. Her background in customer relations, problem-solving, and project management laid a strong foundation for launching and growing her woman-owned business.

Deeply passionate about agritourism and showcasing the beauty of our region, Mary Ellen takes pride in welcoming locals and visitors alike to savor the unique charm of her vineyard—a place where wine, community, and nature meet.
