Rose Winquist is the founder of Winquist Investigations, and has been a licensed private investigator for over 25 years. Her experience includes investigations of criminal misconduct, securities and insurance fraud, sexual and other harassment, elder abuse and financial exploitation.
A Seattle native, she received her investigative training from criminal law enforcement staff at the U.S. Department of Justice and the King County Sheriff's Department. Rose trained with seasoned FBI, ATF and Homicide investigators who worked on the Ted Bundy and Green River Serial Killer – Gary Ridgeway – cases. Rose is considered one of the best investigators in the State of Washington. She has worked on numerous criminal defense and civil cases that have led to criminal convictions.
She has provided training for other investigators at the Washington State Crime Prevention Conference. Rose also volunteers her time and expertise to community organizations, including Legal Voice – which advocates for social justice and women's issues – and the Seattle Children's Hospital. She has appeared on panels to educate attorneys, investigators and human resource professionals about elder abuse issues.
Rose and her team have worked on well-known cases including the Sudafed tampering case, an E-coli poisoning case and complex securities fraud cases. They have also provided investigative services on the unsolved homicide of Tanya Frazier, the missing person case of Mark Stover, and support for The Friends of Amanda Knox.
